So
far, 2009 has been a year for new friends, new gigs and new
experiences for Prairie Soul.
Case
in point: On Friday, March 27, we played the first of what
we hope will be many gigs at Thurman Grill and Provisions,
and what a crowd to play for! A wonderful time was had by
all, and it was particularly great to see so many folks singing
along. Thanks to Larry and everyone at Thurman for having
Prairie Soul, and we're looking forward to returning later
this summer.
Now we're planning on carrying that same energy to another
new venue for us: Chesterfield Arts' "Fridays Uncorked"
event on Friday, May 1. Don't forget - this is your chance
to catch some great tunes while enjoying drinks and dessert
and doing your part to promote visual art in Chesterfield
in this fundraising event. We'll see you there!
And
for more great tunes and great art, follow us to St. Louis's
own Laumeier Art Fair on Saturday, May 9. We'll start
playing at noon, but you'll want to show up early to enjoy
the spectacular outdoor sculpture park and visiting artists'
booths.
And

on this website for your listening pleasure and at all gigs

Quite
