As
the weather has gotten warmer, we've been greeted with some
truly amazing gigs and, even better, heartfelt responses from
our audience.
Just
a few weeks ago, we played Chesterfield Arts' fundraising
event, Fridays Uncorked. Not only is it a beautiful space
featuring some fantastic art, the audience came primed for
some Prairie Soul tunes! We were treated like rock stars (thankfully
no green M&M's) and loved the audience interaction. Thanks
for all of the well wishes and special thanks to the ladies
in back who sang along! What a great night!

The
following weekend we were pleased to participate as a part
of the Laumeier Art Fair. Last year's fair suffered
from several huge down pours. This year we had a beautiful
azure sky and an equally awesome array of people. We made
lots of new friends and debuted several new songs along
the way. Many thanks to those who stopped by, sang along,
gave a thumbs up, and otherwise made the day very memorable.

Many
of you know already that PS has a number of other incarnations
as well. Just last night, Ben and Rich ventured into some
new territory and shared the stage at Third Degree Glass
Factory. Ben's other band, Caravelle,
opened the evening. Rich
played a few solo tunes, but was joined by Ben on a number
of original tunes by Rich. As the evening drew to a close,
Caravelle came back with another set of truly original music.
Linda's other band is Musyc,
so be sure to check them out too!
We've
also added a few new gigs over the last few weeks. Come see
us at truly great space, Chandler
Vineyards in July and August. We also expect to announce
late summer and fall gigs of great reknown very soon. Here's
hoping!
We
continue to add new tunes along the way, so come see us again
soon! This has been a fun year so far and we look forward
to seeing you from the stage again soon. As always, let us
know if you have a favorite watering hole you think
is right for us. Keep us in mind for your private events as
