Fresh
from two exciting gigs in Tower Grove, Prairie Soul
is looking forward to carrying the momentum through the rest
of October and the rest of 2009! There are holidays aplenty
in the weeks to come, and several great occasions to
catch Prairie Soul live.
But
before we get ahead of ourselves, have a look at these photos
from our performance at the Tower Grove Harvest Sessions
on Saturday, October 10. Special thanks to KDHX for
sponsoring the lively concert series and to Sara Finke
for braving the morning chill and taking some great shots:

Thanks
also to Linda
Green-Metzler for her shots at the Shaw Art Fair a couple
of weeks ago. A couple of her pics can be seen to the right.
You'll see a few more of them in the near future.
Next
on our agenda is a fun and festive all-afternoon gig at the
lovely Piasa Winery in Grafton on Halloween. We hope
you'll stop by (in costume, if you like) between 2 and 6 p.m.
to catch a few tunes and sample a few of the Midwest's best
wines, including the sought-after Norton. Check in advance
to see if the ferry is operational!
After
a bit of a break in November, we'll be back at Thurman
Grill in Tower Grove on Friday, December 4 to play a few
sets for one of our favorite crowds. If you haven't spent
a Friday evening with Larry and the gang at Thurman, you've
been missing out on one of Tower Grove's absolute best neighborhood
bar/restaurants. So come in from the cold and see what the
fuss is about. Just follow the music!
Don't
forget our gig at the Sheldon in January! We're proud
to share the evening with our friends, Salt
of the Earth.
Prairie
Soul is primed and ready for a fantastic fall. We hope you
can keep up!
